The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Infrastructure & Systems Administrator to join our team in Dubai. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing and operating a complex, enterprise-level IT environment across multiple sites, ensuring high availability, security, and smooth day-to-day operations.

You’ll work across a wide range of technologies — from on-prem infrastructure to cloud environments — while supporting both systems and end-users in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Role Definition

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will manage, monitor, and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including data centers, servers, networks, and security systems. You’ll play a key role in ensuring system reliability, performance, and security, while also supporting internal users and collaborating with vendors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Systems

• Manage and configure VMware and Nutanix environments across multiple sites

• Maintain virtualized environments (Windows & Linux servers)

• Administer Active Directory across multiple locations

• Manage Microsoft Exchange (high availability setup)

• Support AWS-based systems and services

• Maintain web servers and Kubernetes environments

Database Management

• Administer SQL Server environments (including high availability setups)

• Manage large-scale databases across Windows and Linux systems

• Maintain Exchange databases and ensure performance and reliability

Security & Monitoring

• Configure and manage firewalls, antivirus, and EDR solutions

• Monitor systems using security tools (e.g. SIEM solutions)

• Ensure overall infrastructure security and compliance

Network & Office IT Operations

• Maintain LAN/WAN connectivity, VPNs, and MPLS links

• Manage Cisco networking equipment and Wi-Fi infrastructure

• Support telephony systems (Cisco-based contact center solutions)

• Oversee end-user equipment (laptops, printers) and onboarding setup

• Provide hands-on support to internal users

What we are looking for

Technical skills

• Strong experience with Windows and Linux environments

• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Exchange, and SQL Server

• Solid understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, Nutanix)

• Experience with networking (Cisco devices, firewalls, VPNs)

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)

• Experience with backup solutions (e.g. Veeam) is a plus

Professional Background

• Degree in IT or equivalent practical experience

• Relevant certifications (e.g. MCSE, CCNA, CCIE) are a plus

• Experience working in complex, multi-site environments

Soft Skills

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills

• Service-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability

• Clear communication skills and ability to work with different stakeholders

• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
