The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join our growing engineering team in Belgrade.
If you are passionate about building scalable web applications and working with modern technologies in a collaborative environment, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications and APIs

  • Work with REST and SOAP services, XML/JSON data formats, and HTTP/HTTPS protocols

  • Ensure security, scalability, and performance of public web applications

  • Participate in system architecture design and technical decision-making

  • Contribute to application deployment, monitoring, and optimization

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers

  • Participate actively in agile development processes

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of professional experience with PHP and strong problem-solving skills

  • Excellent knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, Oracle)

  • Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, OOP, design patterns, and integration patterns

  • Hands-on experience designing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs

  • Strong awareness of security and performance best practices for public web applications

  • Experience developing high-traffic web applications and/or APIs

  • Practical experience with Git and modern development workflows

  • Comfortable working in agile teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with Linux environments (RedHat/CentOS)

  • Previous experience in application maintenance, including deployment, monitoring, and optimization

  • Familiarity with JIRA and CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience working on high-performance systems and scalability challenges

  • Proactive mindset, strong collaboration skills, and a true team player attitude
