The Opportunity
The Vice President of Business Development drives regional growth by acquiring new customers and expanding the company’s presence through strategic and hands-on sales execution. The role focuses on building trusted client relationships and positioning the company as a preferred partner for complex, high-value software solutions.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the VP represents the full company portfolio and is responsible for opening and growing long-term customer partnerships across the region.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Planning & Pipeline Development
Execute regional business development strategies to successfully penetrate the market
Identify emerging market trends, competitive threats, and new business opportunities
Build, manage, and maintain a strong pipeline of high-value prospects
Sales Leadership & Execution
Own the full sales cycle for new customers, from prospecting through closing
Achieve and exceed revenue targets through consultative, solution-based selling
Develop and deliver tailored pitches and presentations to C-level executives and key stakeholders
Relationship Building & Collaboration
Build and maintain a local partner network as a key business development channel
Establish and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers and influencers
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and professional networking events
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in enterprise software business development and technology sales
Strong background in consultative selling, strategic sales planning, and negotiations
Experience with Public Safety, Critical Communications, Telecom, and government customers
Solid understanding of enterprise and AI-driven software solutions
Knowledge of public procurement processes and long-term government engagement
Ability to independently present complex solutions and manage the full sales cycle
Strong leadership, networking skills, and capability to manage complex ecosystems
Highly organized, able to independently manage sales processes and RFPs
Additional Information
Travel is expected, including international travel
Corporate offices are located across multiple regions, requiring flexibility in scheduling meetings across time zones
