About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester to join our Quality Engineering team. You will be responsible for testing mobile and web applications to ensure a seamless, high-quality user experience across releases. A basic understanding of backend testing and QA automation will be advantageous, as you’ll also assist in maintaining and executing automated test suites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans, test sets, and test cases covering positive and negative scenarios.

• Execute test cases for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across mobile and web platforms.

• Perform functional, regression, and UI testing to validate product quality.

• Log, track, and verify defects using Jira, collaborating with developers to reproduce and validate fixes.

• Review and update existing test cases to ensure full coverage of new and existing features.

• Support test planning and release validation cycles, ensuring timely delivery and QA sign-off.

• Work closely with product managers, developers, and release teams to clarify requirements and testing scope.

• Assist with automation testing and maintenance (Python/Appium) when required.

• Contribute to QA process documentation, test reports, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance.

• Proven experience testing mobile and web applications across multiple devices and platforms.

• Proficiency with Jira, Postman, and test case management tools.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments.

• Knowledge of test automation frameworks (Python, Appium, Selenium).

• 5+ years of QA experience.

• Industry knowledge in Telecom BSS.
